Neither to son nor wife, brother nor friend,

Ecclesiasticus 33: 20-24

These words were written more than two thousand years ago and are still a good starting point when considering the concerns of the elderly client and when still most elderly people continue to live in their own homes, have an income which supplements their state pension and are never likely to become senile.
